- Google OAuth (optional): This gives you the option to login into your Google account and save the expenses data in a newly created Google Sheet. The extension does not have access to any other documens other than those created through it.
- Open Exchange Rates: This service converts currency for displayed prices. It does not collect any user information.
- ipapi.co: This service retrieves your country based on your IP address. We use this information solely to display relevant currency conversions.
- Aptabase: This service provides anonymized event tracking and geolocation analytics to better understand how the extension is being used. Please refer to Aptabase’s privacy policy for details on their data collection practices.
How Does Submarine Use Your Information?
The information collected from third-party services is used for the following purposes:
- Website Favicons: To display website icons, enhancing user experience.
- Currency Conversion: To help you convert prices from one currency to another, including local currency.

All information related to recurring payments is stored locally on your browser. Submarine does not store any kind of information.
